The Creator Leadership Network (CLN) is proud to announce the premiere of The Monica Coates Show. The 30-minute radio show, hosted by author, educator, and music industry veteran Monica Coates, begins its weekly run on CLN’s Creator Worship channel at www.creatorleadershipnetwork.com, Monday, January 10, at 12:00 noon EST (11:00 am CST/9:00 am PST) with encore presentations at 4:30 pm EST (3:30 pm CST/1:30 pm PST), 12:00 midnight EST (11:00 pm CST/9:00 pm PST) and at 4:30 am EST (3:30 am CST/1:30 am PST).
The spirited, half-hour program is filled with practical insight for rising worship leaders, independent artists, songwriters and musicians. Drawing from nearly two decades of music industry experience, Coates will explore core issues affecting the artistic, professional, and spiritual development of today’s creative community. The program also features Coates’ responses to questions submitted to her by members of the listening audience.
Recorded in Nashville, TN, The Monica Coates Show is co-produced by Coates and noted audio-video producer Manny Saiz. A new episode will premiere each Monday at 12 noon EST with encore presentations daily at that same time as well as at 4:30 pm EST, 12:00 midnight EST and 4:30 am EST.

Over the course of her diverse career, she has worked at the top Gospel labels—-EMI Gospel and Verity—-and with a variety of artists, including Fred Hammond, Donnie McClurkin, CeCe Winans and Aaron Neville. She is the author of The Beginner’s Guide To The Gospel Music Industry (Paul Marchell Publishing) and an adjunct professor at Belmont University in Nashville, TN.

I have always embraced the Bible as a guidebook to every aspect of life. With that in mind, my blog page will focus on music industry concepts as well as real-world issues for those of us committed to our faith in Jesus Christ.
Of course it is also my great joy to be able to present to you The Beginner’s Guide To The Gospel Music Industry. My first book is a true labor of love, developed prayerfully and as the result of nearly two decades of experience. For the next few months this site will serve as the exclusive on-line outlet for the book before its formal release both on-line and in stores across the nation in September 2009.
